I could ask why but why
Withdrawals suck...I woke up today shaking pretty bad and most the day for that matter. As much fun as i've been having here it's really catching up with me. I don't want to go back to san diego but I know once I'm back there the partying and drinkin will settle down alot cause that's usually how it is for me in San Diego now. Even though I hate that place. I'm gonna surround myself with stuff so I never have to leave my room and I can be a hermit.....I still feel like shit I turned down all alcohol today but one beer then I realized that was a bad idea....

and by the way I am really really depressed and it sucks

it's natural for someone who's gone through a lot of shit to want to leave their head a little bit. if you try to fight this you've got two options: AA/Jesus or accept that it's something you want and continue to concentrate on the other things you want for your life.

weed is good. it makes pain more manageable (not like morphine, obviously) and has the nice side-effect of giving you a little euphoria. if you have an addictive personality you will continue to seek out these things and weed is about as harmless as they come. really. an addiction to cheeseburgers will kill you faster.

with the short-term euphoria, weed can get you thinking positive, get you at least enjoying where you are, or more appreciative of it, or even reveal ways to take action against the shit that pisses you off. alcohol, x and other party drugs, tobacco--none of these are gonna have this effect. and, oh yeah, by the way, they're fucking killing you. weed and meditation will get you off the other shit, unless your addiction is strictly pain medication and you're still suffering severe pain, in which case, fuck, you have a mountain to climb. but people climb mountains all the time.

good luck
